It is a small island on the backwaters of Alappuzha. The specialty of this island is that many rare birds migrate from different parts of the world to this small island. Pathiramanal is accessed only by boat. This island is surrounded by the Vembanad Lake stretching from Alappuzha to Kochi and the Kayamkulam Lake . This island is a peaceful resting place where you can rest on the green grass by giving a break. The journey is one and half hours by motor boat or 30 minutes by speed boat from the ferry of Alappuzha district in Kerala.
