These canals are situated in Kuttanad. The QST and R Block Kayals (backwards) remind the visitor of the famous dikes of Holland . Here, the habitation and cultivation are made possible at four to ten feet below the sea level. So the extensive land has been reclaimed from backwaters and is protected by dikes built around it for this purpose. These canal cruises will be unforgettable memories. Most of the snake boat races are conducted here. The serene waterways are decorated with palm grove and paddy fields and provide you a beautiful view of village activities.
