It is a place where the three symbols of religious tolerance and peaceful co-existence. Here exists a Catholic Church, a Hindu temple, a mosque and Jewish Synagogue remains exist in proximity. This place has got three rivers, seven inlets, hillocks and vast green plains with green grasses.

This land was owned by Paliath Achans, the prime ministers of Maharajas of Kochi. There is a Palian residence near to it which shows the architectural splendour of Kerala. This palace has got rare collection of historical documents and relics. The hillocks at Kottayil Kovilakam give you a usual glimpse of church, temple, mosque and the synagogue together. This place is situated about 42 km away from Ernakulam town in Ernakulam district in Central Kerala .

There is a Vypeenkotta seminary too here built in the 16th century by the Portuguese.
